Manufacturing Pasts - Learning Resources

A collection of free to use learning resources relating to the manufacturing history of Leicester. Resources are based on factories such as Liberty Shoes, N. Corah and Sons, D.Byford and Pex, as well as oral histories from company staff and local residents. This collection aims to fill the gap in primary resources relating to the rise and fall of manufacturing industry in Britain and the effect on local communities.
